Designer name for colors inaccurate
This is the problem with buying online, you have to rely on the description. Also you can't hand pick the item for slight imperfections. FYI what CK describes as 'Blue' for this tie is more like purple/violet. Go by the photo--your computer screen colors are not off. 'Nightshadow' which sounds like it would be dark greys, inky purple & black is actually shades of blue. I actually had to return & reorder because of this. I'm also particular about seams and patterns lining up and on one of the ties the bottom edge of the tie and the line of the diagonal pattern were off. I've had similar problems with other ties I've ordered. I don't know who names their colors but I've noticed on their shirts too that the color/pattern descriptors they assign do not make sense. Thank God they have good customer service & returns or I wouldn't buy online.
