Elegant Dishes with Subtle Details
I have 8 full place settings plus coffee mugs in this pattern. They are our everyday dishes. I was specifically looking for white porcelain dishes with just a little added interest and which offered tea cups as well as coffee mugs. These fit the bill perfectly. Food looks beautiful served on these creamy white dishes. I generally find pure white to be too cold and these are just a shade warmer. The subtle "mollusk" pattern around the edges of the dishes adds a liitle interest without taking anything away from the food. They have been very durable in the year we've had them-- no chips and no gray marks from flatware. They wash up beautifully in the dishwasher. I don't own a microwave, so I can't comment on how they perform there, but they seem to do fine in our warming drawer. I also appreciate that they are sold by the piece--this was invaluable when my inlaws overturned a whole pile of them out of my kitchen cabinet and I was relieved not to have to replace full place settings.
